DUCTLOK FLANGE

A roll formed galvanized steel angle incorporating a permanent non hardening sealant, which guarantees a dependable airtight connection - eliminates the need for post installation sealing of the duct.

CORNER PIECE

The Ductlok corner piece is ribbed and edged flanged for extra rigidity and features an embossed dimple ensuring an extra tight corner joint.
The bolt hole is suitable for carriage type or normal bolt corners, available in 2 sizes; Junior and Senior

REINFORCEMENT BEAD

The unique DUCTLOK REFORCEMENT bead makes the flange stronger than conventional flanges, thereby reducing the necessity for many different gauges of flange profiles.
DUCTLOK produces only 2 sizes to cover all applications. (DUCTLOK JUNIOR - 25mm x O.8mm, DUCTLOK SENIOR - 35mm x l.00mm).

GASKET TAPE

A Butyl rubber sealant strip for insertion between Ductlok flanges.
Easily installed.
The tape is water, heat and UV resistant.

HANGER BOLT

The Ductlok Hanger Bolt is a new concept in reducing your duct hanging costs.
When fitted to the Ductlok corner piece in place of a normal or carriage bolt, a length of threaded duct hanging rod can be fitted through the hanger bolt, thus permitting the duct hanger to be fixed to the corner piece.

Application

At a notch, cut a lenth equivalent to the perimeter required plus an overlap of 5 to cm (2") for joining.

Lift the seam outwards at right angle.

Make a cut at the edge of the lifted seam section.

Bend down the seam whilst ensuring that the cloth remains fastened.

Coat the clothe with the appropriate adhesive. Join both sides ad press together firmly.

Spotweld the steel and form to the sesired shape.

Self Adhesive hangers SC

Self-adhesive hangers are designed to fix efficiently insulation on smooth surfaces such as air ducts, attenuators, chambers and enclosures.
It consists of a pin, firmly mounted on a high-quality self-adhesive base.
Locking washers supplied in each box.

Application recommendation

Quantity		8 to 12 hangers per square meter (1,20 sq Yd) are required in standard condition.
Application		* Surfaces should be clean and dry, free of dust, grease, oil and any other loose matter.
		* Avoid using degreasing - products
		* Not for use in application likely to make contact with chlorinated, cetonic or ether solvents
Application temperature		+15 °C to +25 °C (+60°F to +80°F)
Holding temperature		-40 °C to +80 °C (-40°F to +180°F)

Storage

2 years when stored in a dry place. +10 °C to +30 °C (+50°F to +90°F), with 50% relative humidity.

Application

Apply at temperature range +15ºC to +25ºC (+60ºF to +89ºF). Surfaces should be clean and dry, free of dust, grease, oil and any other loose matter. Do not use degreasing products. Not for use in application likely to make contact with chlorinated, cetonic or esther solvents.

Place the hanger in the required position and press the base against the surface to be insulated.

Remove the protective release paper taking care not to touch the adhesive.

Insulation can be impaled immediately and firmly locked with locking washers, but maximum strength of adherence is achieved after 24 hours. If necesaary, cover the pin with protective cap.
